The Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) will present certificates of return to newly elected chairmen and councillors across the state’s 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs) and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. This ceremony, initially scheduled for Tuesday, was postponed due to the public holiday declared by the Federal Government to mourn the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
