Popular social media personality and critic, Solomon Buchi, has publicly criticized celebrity UK pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, for his recent outing with music superstar, Davido, in a club.
This controversy erupted after a video surfaced on social media. This video showed Davido and Pastor Adegboyega, enjoying the night life together.
This moment gained momentum, most especially due to the rift between Davido and fellow singer, Wizkid, who was also spotted at the same venue.
In a brutal reaction which he posted on his X handle, Buchi disapproved of the pastor’s action. He labelled Adegboyega as a “shame to the office or a pastor.”
He further implored the clergyman to reconsider his role in the ministry. Buchi suggested that the pastor should focus on living a lavish lifestyle and should also indulge in clubbing.
Buchi’s remarks has sparked a debate on social media about the conduct of public figures. Most especially those position of spiritual leadership, and the implications of their actions on their followers.
