Since its founding in 1993, the Egbe Omo Yoruba Scholarship has showcased the organization’s commitment to advancing educational opportunities for Nigerian students. This year, the scholarship continues to uphold its mission, offering support to deserving students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need.

At the time of award distribution, each scholarship recipient will receive the Naira equivalent of $200. By providing this financial aid, Egbe Omo Yoruba aims to encourage educational success and empower young Nigerians in their academic pursuits.

  5. Recommendation: Provide a letter of recommendation from an academic staff member familiar with the student’s performance and character.

Selection Process

Egbe Omo Yoruba follows a multi-step selection process to ensure the most deserving students receive support:

  1. Initial Review: All applications and supporting documents are reviewed for eligibility and completeness.
  2. Zoom Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a virtual interview via Zoom, led by the scholarship committee.
