Late Christianah Idowu a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, has been found dead, after going missing for 2 Weeks.
Christianah was declared missing on the 19th of August after she was not seen at her place of work, and also at her house.
The authorities went into action to locate the girl.
An abductor got across to the family on the 19th of August and demanded a ransom of N3 Million, then later reduced it to N1.5 Million, the abductor stayed in contact with the family, through phone and emails.
As at the time of this report, the abductor has been arrested, he was a friend to Christianah, Adeleye Ayomide, a student of Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU.
The family was able to raise, N350,000, which he asked them to pay through a betting platform. He then requested their bank statement to be sure, they didn’t have the ransom.
On the 23rd of August, the family paid him another N100,000 through the victim’s account, which he withdrew directly to his Wema bank account.
The authorities were able to get access to his BVN and were able to get all his social accounts. He also has 2 phones in different locations, one is a decoy, but the authorities were able to trace his live location to his family’s house in Ikorodu.
The soldier sprang into action and arrested him. Every piece of evidence was backed by checking the phone with him, with the messages and email.
On further investigation, it was discovered he had already Killed Christianah. And that is not his first killing, he had also abducted, killed, and buried his girlfriend, in 2018.
He also abducted, killed, and buried his blood sister the same way in 2020.
Ayodele Ayomide is currently 23 years old, a 200L student of Philosophy, Olabisi Onabanjo University. Nigerians are demanding for Justice for all the victim and the hashtag #JusticeForChristianah is trending on social media.
