The senior special adviser to the Ondo state governor on entertainment and tourism, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyilaw has saluted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for removing the fuel subsidy.
He said the fuel subsidy should have been eliminated a long time ago.
He pointed out that, if the fuel subsidy had been removed during the administration of ex-president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, in 2012, Nigerians would’ve been free from the pain now.
“I was the only celebrity that kicked against the anti-fuel subsidy movement,” he said.
“Fuel subsidy should have been long gone. If it had gone in 2012 we would have gone through the pain process and by now we would have been healing,” he said.
