Scholarship Benefits
Level A: Includes a tuition waiver, comprehensive medical insurance, monthly stipend of 2,500 RMB, and an accommodation subsidy.
Level B: Includes a tuition waiver only.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and in good physical and mental health.
- Applicants should have passed the new HSK Level 5 or higher. Native Chinese speakers or those who attended a high school where Chinese was the language of instruction may apply for an exemption.
- Applicants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan who now hold foreign citizenship must have obtained their foreign nationality before April 30, 2021, and lived abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2021, and April 30, 2025.
- Applicants must meet requirements outlined in Document No. 12 (2020) of the PRC’s Ministry of Education.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) must be completed by July 2025.
- Applicants must be under 30 years old as of September 1, 2025.
Note: Graduating students in 2025 should provide a Pre-graduation Certificate. Additionally, those with other scholarships or funding from China for the 2025-2026 academic year are not eligible.

- Passport copy (including pages with Chinese visa or residence permit, if applicable)
- Certified high school graduation certificate and transcripts (students graduating in 2025 should submit a Pre-graduation Certificate)
- HSK Level 5 certificate and transcripts, or proof of high school education in Chinese
- Physical Examination Form for Foreigners
- Recommendation letter from high school (in Chinese or English)
- Guardian Statement (if under 18 by Sept 1, 2025), with the guardian residing in Hefei
- For applicants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan: Immigration certificate, proof of citizenship cancellation, passport stamps, and proof of overseas residence from April 30, 2021, to March 31, 2025
- Documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by certified translations.
