Nigerians are out on the street to protest against the economic hardship and hike in prices of basic commodities. As agreed that it will be taking place on the 1st of August,2024.
PALNDO reports that human rights Lawyers, Femi Falana, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, and also, Deji Adeyanju. Also, former Presidential Candidate, Omoyele Sowore, the Take it Back Movement, and many others, had all called for a Nationwide protest. This is to end bad governance as well as hunger in the country.
The group tagged the protest ‘DAYS OF RAGE’. And it is said to hold for 10 days which is, August 1-10.
Some protesters head to Alausa, the Lagos seat of power. Also, heavy police presence arebeing spotted in Ojota, Lagos State.

Meanwhile, pro- government protesters has converged ahead of their no protest rally, They are preaching against violent protests.
Benin protesters ignore government directives. the set up roadblocks on several roads.
Ugbowo in Benin Edo State is calm and peaceful. Protesters gather at Akpakpava Road, near Ring Road, the designated venue.
Also, in Abuja, protesters had gathered at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, in compliance with court order, that restricted them to the facility.
