August 1 protest: ‘Nobody can stop Nigerians from protesting’- Tinubu’s aide, Ngelale

Show us some love, share our story!

The Special Adviser to the president in media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said nobody can stop Nigerians from protesting.

During an interview, he affirmed that protesting is the right of every citizen in Nigeria.

He also addressed that the Tinubu government is not trying to stop the citizens from protesting rather, they are trying to prevent a potential hijack of the protest like the #EndSARS movement in 2020.

He moved forward by saying “Let me be clear, we are not in office to dominate our people, we are here to serve them”.

He said no organ of the administration has any authority to prevent Nigerians from performing their fundamental human right.
