Nigerian music icon Dapo Oyebanjo, better known as D’Banj, has released his much-anticipated fifth studio album, The Entertainer – D’Sequel. This album marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career, blending the infectious rhythms of Afrobeats and Afropop into a compelling sonic experience.

The album features 11 dynamic tracks, along with two bonus offerings, showcasing D’Banj’s ability to innovate while staying true to his roots. With collaborations spanning across the globe, The Entertainer – D’Sequel includes features from Grammy-winning artist Wyclef Jean, the legendary Egypt ’80 Band, Congolese sensation Awilo Logomba, African music icons Youssou N’Dour and Akon, as well as South African star Chechi Sarai, known from NBC’s The Voice.

As a follow-up to his 2008 classic The Entertainer, this album also highlights the talents of several Nigerian artists, including Phyno, Timaya, Kayswitch, Zlatan, Peruzzi, Bhadboi Oml, and Chuchu Lee. D’Banj’s commitment to nurturing new talent is evident as he introduces Specikinging, a rising star discovered through his Cream Platform talent project.
