The ALGANT Master’s course, designed for students with a passion for Algebra, Geometry, and Number Theory, is open to applicants globally. Funded by the European Union, the program provides approximately ten scholarships for students from non-EU countries. Additional funding opportunities are available, and tuition fees are maintained at an affordable level.

Program Overview

The ALGANT Master’s course offers students a chance to complete a tailored program across multiple institutions in the ALGANT consortium. The program will be taught predominantly in English, and students can expect to spend time studying at a minimum of two hosting institutions.

Admission Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (or equivalent) with strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrate fluency in written and spoken English, as courses are delivered in English.

Scholarship Benefits

The ALGANT scholarship provides full funding for eligible Third-Country students. This includes tuition coverage and may include additional financial support to aid with living expenses during the program.

Application Procedure

The ALGANT application process is fully online, and applicants should prepare the following documents:

  1. Academic Records: Scanned copies of transcripts for all courses taken at every post-secondary institution attended, translated into English (or French, Italian, or Dutch if applicable).
  2. Degree Certificate: A copy of the highest degree obtained, including details of credits, grades, and workload.
  3. Curriculum Vitae: A detailed resume outlining academic and professional experiences.
  4. Motivation Letter: A personal statement detailing your interest in the ALGANT Master’s program and mathematics as a field of study.
  5. Supplemental Documents: Any additional documents that highlight the applicant’s credentials, such as research papers, awards in mathematics competitions, etc.

Applicants should also provide the email addresses of at least two academic references who can attest to their qualifications. These referees will be contacted directly for recommendation letters.
