I did not marry for Love, it was purely business -Jaruma said.

Controversial Nigerian sex therapist, Hauwa Mohammed, popularly known as Jaruma, has opened up to the reason she got married.

Jaruma got married to Ross Fahad Isabor in 2018 but got divorced in 2021.

While in a recent interview with ‘Issues and Society’ podcast, she said she got married because of the pressure from the Northerners that was mounting pressure on her business, because she was a single lady selling sex toys.

“There was massive criticism from the north because I was selling sex products as a single lady. They wondered why people allowed a single lady to teach them what happens in the bedroom for lots of money.

“It wasn’t easy at all. The sex industry is a multi-billion industry, I have made N760 million in 3 years. So I thought the industry would not die and I have a booming business so I can’t just leave because of the heat I was going through.

“I just said if marriage is the problem, let me just do it. I didn’t get married because of love, I got married a month after meeting my ex-husband just to get away from the pressure I got from the north.

“He knew it was not for love but pressure because I told him,” she claimed.
