King’s College London Opens Applications for 2025 Sorabji Graduate Bursary

King’s College London has announced the 2025 Sorabji Graduate Bursary, a prestigious financial support program aimed at postgraduate students within the Department of Philosophy. This bursary, named in honor of Richard Sorabji, Emeritus Professor of Ancient Philosophy, celebrates academic excellence and addresses financial need among deserving candidates.

About the Sorabji Graduate Bursary

The bursary provides an annual award of £2,000 to successful applicants, supporting their academic journey at one of the most renowned institutions in the world.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the Sorabji Graduate Bursary, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in a postgraduate program in the Department of Philosophy at King’s College London.
  • Possess a strong academic record.
  • Be of any nationality.

Documents Needed for Application

Interested candidates are required to submit the following:

  1. A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  2. A cover letter addressed to the Department of Philosophy Funding Panel, highlighting:
    • Current academic status.
    • Plans for the forthcoming academic year.
    • Any other relevant information that strengthens the application.
  3. Details about any other funding sources applied for or received.
