Rabiu Kwankwaso, former governor of Kano state and national leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has confidently stated that he will win the 2027 presidential election. Speaking at the inauguration of the party’s renovated office in Katsina state on Saturday, Kwankwaso emphasized that the NNPP is well-prepared to take over the presidency and govern the states in the upcoming general elections.
Kwankwaso criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying that he and his supporters left because the party is “already dead.” He urged Nigerians not to be swayed by gifts or money during the next elections, signaling that the renovation of the state’s secretariat is part of the party’s preparations for victory.
Armaya’u Abdulkadir, the NNPP chair in Katsina, highlighted the party’s efforts to educate the electorate on the new logo, which symbolizes the party’s commitment to education for all—a core focus of the Kwankwasiyya movement.
