The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has responded to the recent controversy regarding an upcoming movie featuring Nancy Isime.
Last week, Nancy, posted a poster, featuring her in a Hijab in a robbery scene and a lot of people have called for the ban of the movie including some Muslim organizations.
On Friday, the NFVCB confirmed that the film hasn’t been submitted for release and that it’s still in production.
The NFVCB reassured Nigerians of their devotion to actualizing a balance between artistic freedom and religious harm.
