The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, have retaliated saying they can’t pull out from a protest which they did not plan.
On Wednesday, a statement signed by the NLC President, Comrade Joe Ajaero, has directed the government to have a dialogue with the leaders of the protest and not use brute force.
The NLC, did not stop to acknowledge their support for the peaceful protest against the harsh economic policies, hunger, hardship and insecurity in the country.
He later stated that NLC is a body, with set rules and leadership, which the decision-making process will go through a set of protocols and procedures in the place of organizing protest.
