NSUK Student Mustapha Osama Killed by Gunmen in Foiled Robbery Attempt in Nasarawa State

Mustapha Osama, a 300-level student at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), was killed by gunmen during a foiled robbery attempt in Akwanga Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.

The tragic incident occurred around 8pm on Friday, July 19, 2024, along the Gudi-Akwanga road. Osama was struck by a bullet fired by the assailants while he was driving.

He was laid to rest on Saturday morning in his hometown of Doma, following Islamic rites.

The State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident, noting that the robbery was thwarted by police operatives who responded promptly to a distress call.
