Osimhen Receives Warm Welcome From Galatasaray Fans

Show us some love, share our story!

Thousands of Galatasaray fans gathered at the Istanbul Airport, Turkey. This is to welcome Super Eagles star, Victor Osimhen, with enthusiasm and excitement on Monday, September 2nd.

Despite the fact that he arrive at 3:30am, Osimhen was met with cheers and chants.

He appeared thrilled as fans sang and chanted his name, creating a memorable moment.

The warm reception marked the beginning of Osimhen’s loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray. Which is a deal completed after the European transfer window closed.

The Turkish side will cover his €10m salary, reportedly paying €8.8m, with a break clause in January for top clubs.

Osimhen’s arrival was highly anticipated, with fans waiting all night to catch a glimpse of him.

The 25-year-old Nigerian striker will undergo medical tests on Tuesday morning, September 3rd. Which is ahead of him joining the Galatasaray’s Europa League squad.
