According to Bloomberg, 32 year old actress and singer, Selena Gomez, as amazed a fortune of $1.3bn. Which added the celebrity to the billionaire list.
The publication said her wealth came solely from her make up Company, with the name, Rare Beauty. The company was founded five years ago, and she retained a stake worth $1bn in it.
However, the brand success has made her one of the youngest self made wealthy female on the list. Along side the likes of Taylor Swift and Rihanna.
Her brand, Rare Beauty, is known for production of liquid blush and lip tint. The company reportedly brought in sales of over $400m in 12 months.
Bloomberg said, despite her on-screen and musical success, including multiple nominations for Emmy and Grammy Awards. They all made up a small fraction of her wealth.
She also became the most followed woman in the world on Instagram, last year, 2023.
