A disturbing video circulating online shows Stella Nwadigo, a teacher at Christ-Mitots School in Ikorodu, Lagos State, repeatedly slapping a 3-year-old pupil, Abayomi Michael, for struggling to write “six”.
The teacher then slaps him very hard across the face. Obviously the slap did not achieve the intended result because the boy continued to struggle to write and the teacher slapped him more times.
In total, the teacher gave the child, said to be three years old, no less than four slaps, each one as hard as the previous one.
The incident is said to have happened in Christ-Mitots school in Ikorodu, Lagos State
Police have arrested Stella Nwadigo. Investigations ongoing.
