Popular Nigerian Singer, Victony, has pointed to ‘Soweto’ as the quality song that helped his career.
He said the global hit song, change the direction of his life and his career.
In a recent interview with Sound City, he acknowledged the amount of change and fame the song brought to him, the places he never felt he’ll be traveling to anytime soon, just happened like dreams.
“Soweto changed my life. It changed my life in the sense that I was able to travel to places I didn’t believe that I would get to in a very short time,” he said.
“The song was already successful in late 2022, and in 2023, we wanted to maintain that success so we employed Don Toliver and Rema on the remix. They’re very big names and their sounds are not far from what ‘Soweto’ sound like.”
