Program Requirements:
Eligible applicants for the UTokyo Amgen Scholars Program must:
- Be currently enrolled as an undergraduates in colleges or universities across Asia that award bachelor’s degrees (or equivalent).
- Have completed at least their first year of undergraduate studies by the time the program begins.
- Plan to resume their undergraduate studies for at least one semester or one quarter following the program.
- Demonstrate a strong academic record.
- Have a good command of English, with minimum scores as follows:
- TOEFL (iBT): 72
- IELTS: 5.5 overall
- Cambridge English FCE
- TOEIC: 1095 (L&R score: 785, S&W score: 310)
- Show an interest in pursuing a Ph.D. in a related field.
