Benefits of the Trent University Scholarship Program
Trent University offers multiple undergraduate scholarships:
- Trent International Global Citizens Scholarships and Awards: $2,000 – $25,000
- Trent International Tuition Levy Scholarship: $25,000
- United World Colleges (UWC) Scholarship: $25,000
- Justin Chiu International Scholarship: $3,000 – $15,000
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, you must:
- Be an international student paying international fees.
- Hold a study permit for studying in Canada.
- Have applied for an undergraduate program at Trent University for the Winter, Summer, or Fall 2025 term. (Postgraduate certificate and Master/Ph.D. students are ineligible).
- Meet Trent’s general and degree-specific admission requirements, including English Language Proficiency.
- Have a final high school average of 80% or higher (Canadian equivalent).
- Complete your scholarship application through the myTrent portal before the application deadline for your cohort.
- Accept and meet the conditions of your conditional offer and register for courses to receive the scholarship.

- Applicant’s details
- Financial resources and estimated expenses
- Personal statement (max 500 words)
- Community service and extracurricular activity list (up to 3 activities)
- Reflection on community service/extracurricular involvement (max 500 words)
- An essay on a topic of passion (max 500 words)
- Two recommendation letters
