Chidinma Adeshina, a former contestant for Miss South Africa, has shared her ordeal in her journey in pageantry.
She talked about her experiences in a recent interview with Big Friday Show, she opened up, about facing issues with her identity, all because of her dual citizenship.
She talked about her ambition, pursuing the title of Miss Universe.
“I think it’s something I started recently; however, I’ve had this dream since 2017 to become the next Miss Universe. I’m really glad I have been given the platform and the opportunity to at least try and reach that goal,” she said.
When asked by the host, Tacha, how she has been managing the identity crisis, Chidinma said “It has been a long journey, so hard at times. I would cry myself to sleep, questioning ‘Why me?’. I had to shift my perspective to see potential greatness emerging from these challenges.”
